In-Home Care Services

We understand the needs that fragile children face on a daily basis. That's why we offer compassionate in-home health care services for these special children while doing our best to support the emotional needs of the family.

Skilled Nursing

Services

We provide short-term skilled nursing home visits to provide health assessment, health education, infusion therapy, and other nursing services as per the doctor’s order to children with cardiac defects (Shunt), feeding issues (NG/G/JT), and other complex medical diagnoses.

Private Duty

Nurse

We offer private duty nursing to children with complex needs via the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). We provide care for kids diagnosed with neurological disorders, respiratory diseases/disorders, transplants, cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine diseases/disorders, quadriplegic/paraplegic, and cardiac defects, among others.

School

Nursing

Our agency partners with different school systems within our service area to provide one-on-one nursing support to our children while in school. This allows them to be fully engaged without any interference with the child’s educational goals.

Personal Support

Services

Our Personal Support staff (CNAs) provide assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, meals, and housekeeping), monitor vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature), and assist with ambulation, transfers, and more.

If you like children and you like feeling the impact you make in your community, you'll LOVE this job. Speaking as an RN, this is a great place to work. It's community/public health, so don't expect the pay to compete with the hospital. On the same token, the work/life balance is VASTLY better than any hospital or even clinic job I've ever worked at in the past. There is always a trade-off but it just depends on what is most important to you. Personally, I'm happy to take a pay cut from the hospital pay if it means I get to keep my back and my sanity (which are SO much more valuable than extra dollars per hour). PLUS, I was still working and busy when nurses at the hospital were getting laid off. Of course I believe I made an impact in my community when I worked in the hospitals and clinics, but here, you might have some of the same patients for over a year. In those cases, you really get to see the improvement and get to really feel the impact you make in that family's life. I've been here for about 3 years now and cannot recommend it enough.M-At-The-WOctober 12, 2020
